  • Detect candidate HDDs
  • Exclude OS/system disk
  • Verify all expected disks
  • Verify disks have no existing filesystem/signature
  • Refuse destructive operation if anything unexpected is found
  • Create Btrfs RAID10
  • Create subvolumes
  • Assign filesystem label
  • Record filesystem UUID
  • Create mount configuration
